1. We will not hold any person/s and/or business liable for any injury that may occur. We understand that every investigation will be done at our own risk.
2. All research sites, whether private or public, will be treated respectfully, with courtesy, and with utmost professionalism.
3. During an investigation we will not tamper with or move belongings or equipment around unless prior authorization has been given by the proprieter.
4. Prior to an investigation, there will be a walkthrough of the site to familiarize researchers with locations of power sources and also areas of activity.
5. All investigations will be conducted in groups of two or more. We never investigate alone.
6. All equipment and batteries are checked before each and every investigation.
7. Researchers will not wear any strong smelling colognes or perfumes that may interfere with natural and supernatural odors that may be present.
8. All cell phones must be put on silent for the entire investigation.
9. At all times we will remain calm and still especially if there is activity happening. All investigators are trained to handle those rare instances when something may be there with us.
10.  No drugs or alchoholic beverages are to be used during an investigation at any time.
11.  No smoking is allowed during an investigation. Not only may it interfere with photos and video recordings by creating false fog but it is also not professional.
12.  In the case of inclement weather investigations may need to be postponed. Firstly to ensure the safety of all researchers and secondly to avoid any false E.V.P.'s or anomolies.

DFPS uses digital equipment along with other technology to try and first disprove an occurence. In the event there is no logical or scientific explanation then it may be possible that it is supernatural.
